2018 GMC Yukon Hybrid Exterior Changes
GMC Yukon Hybrid 2018 will wear muscular design lines in the outer body to project a bold statement. The front fascia will sport a dynamic grille with chrome bars as part of the premium styling. The projector beam headlights will continue towards the front fender, creating an overlapping layout.
The lower fascia will hold a robust bumper that will merge with chrome air vents. Both headlights and taillights will integrate advanced LED lighting. New 18-inch aluminum wheels will come standard while 20-inch polished aluminum and 22-inch chrome wheels will come as optional.
The interior cabin of this upcoming Yukon Hybrid will be based on 2 major parameters – comfort and functionality. To go specific, the driver’s gauge cluster will come updated with a drivetrain monitoring system for displaying information like battery charge, drive mode and several others.
This cabin will even include revised safety features like Safety Alert Seat, Teen Driver Mode, Forward Collision Alert and Impact Absorbing Steering Column.
To make efficiency and brawny power work hand-in-hand, GMC Yukon Hybrid 2018 will sport a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine that’s capable of producing outputs of more than 356 HP and 384 lb-ft torque. This power mill will be mated to a high-output electric motor having a power capacity of around 27 HP.
In total, the hybrid powerplant should be adequate for power outputs of around 383 HP and 396 lb-ft torque. This could only mean that EPA ratings will go out as 41 mpg in city, 39 mpg on highways and 43 mpg on a combined scale. Moreover, the 0 to 60 mph sprint could come in around 6.7 seconds or less.
The electric motor will use an 18 kWh lithium-ion battery pack for catering an all-electric drive range of 63 miles or even more. Experts say that the battery pack will be placed underneath the cargo so that the interior legroom won’t get jeopardized.
