There have been much-anticipated design changes to this 2018 Nissan Rogue Hybrid. Both its exterior look and interior styling has received significant upgrades with the new generation model. Exterior changes for this automobile has mostly been refreshed ones, with certain extra features. These features include:

  • Family package which include a 3rd row of seating arrangement for S and SV trim models.
  • An optional panoramic roof is available with modified LED head lights and tail lamps.

2018 Nissan Rogue Hybrid will be produced using the same platform as its predecessor. Nissan has officially confirmed that their newer version of CMF platform will form its bedrock.   • S for the standard base option.
  • SV for slightly more features and drive train choices.
  • SL for the highest trim level which includes all additional content.

Engine and Drive Train

As far as the powertrain options for 2018 Nissan Rogue Hybrid go, its standard engine will be paired up with an electric motor. This will serve as the power train for this hybrid model. The engine is a 2.5 LITER supercharged Eco-Tec unit, paired with a 30 kW electric motor and a 1.5 kWh advanced Lithium-ion battery.

This complete setup will be able to generate a combined power output of 170 HP and also produce 175 lb-ft of max torque. Drivetrain options include the standard front wheel drive train setup; although official sources confirm that an all-wheel drive option might be available.

Price and Release Date

2018 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is not showing up to Nissan dealerships anytime soon. According to certain sources, it might be looking for a mid-2017 release. As of its pricing, no actual figures have been released yet. However, considering Nissan’s pricing trends, its price can be tagged around $35,000.
