Lexus is ready to compete with the European and US auto giants in the Hybrid genre with their Lexus Hybrid Drive system installed. This intelligent system carefully combines the power of fuel ignited engine, be it petrol or diesel, with an electric motor. Although not yet confirmed, the Lexus LX 570 Hybrid 2018 is rumored to add to the fleet of hybrids. Like its younger siblings, this vehicle is also set to be fitted with Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission system.

Typically AWD cars, Toyota installs a 5.0-liter V8 engine which is equipped with a 45 kW hybrid motor. This combination is powerful enough to produce 383 HP and 403 lb-ft of torque. Unlike most other hybrids, the Lexus 570 is not a plug-in hybrid. It works in combination with the V8 and still manages to produce massive power. Like other hybrids, it can also run solely on the electric engine and still produce more than 100 HP.
